I love old buildings like this too. Since I was born in May ’68 it’d be hard for me to actually claim that “I love the 60’s” since I was too young to fully appreciate it… but looking back at things I adore from the 60’s (old signs, movies, comicbooks, music etc) I can probably say “Oh what the hell— I love the 60’s anyway!”
I’m a year younger than you, but I still love those ’60s! (and the ’50s, and the ’40s …) I’d love to preserve all the great midcentury aesthetic achievements (even the comics!)if I could.
