Cool picture. I saw the Dead Kennedys at a Knights of Pythias hall here in Phoenix in the early 80’s. I’m not sure if its still around.
Knights of Pythias — it sounds so mysterious… and great photo, too!
Funny Floyd, I saw Bad Brains in the 80’s play at some Knights Hall here in STL. They played for about 15 minutes and the cops shut the show down by killing the power. Some neighbor had complained about the noise!
Karswell, that sucks! I was lucky enough to catch the full B.B. set, but I’ve had “THE MAN” shut down my good time many a time as well.
I had no idea the Knights were extant in any form whatsoever. Let alone hosting loud concerts!
