Pink Kitchen

March 13, 2011

This is for Greer, who wanted to see. πŸ™‚ It’s just a small galley kitchen, but I really think the pink paint makes it look so much cleaner and prettier. The valance was made by my mom, and the apron she made me (same fabric, plus rickrack!) hangs on a nail closer to the oven. The little apron shown here is vintage and purely decorative.

P.S. Please ignore the pile of crap on the fridge. I forgot to move it.

What are the odds that we both have friends named Greer?

      I don’t know. I’d say it’s a relatively uncommon name.

I suppose it’s the same odds that you and my husband and my best friend from high school all have the same birthday.

So pretty! This would make a great place for one of those strawberry jam cakes!
