Green Bed

One of mine. I just got a Micron pen and it has changed the way I look at what I’m capable of. It sounds silly, but suddenly, I feel like I can make my watercolors look pretty.
My inspirations are firstly, eklektick and jek in the box on Flickr; for a few years now, they have inspired my ideas about what a bedroom should look like, and my idea of domestic photography. Now they also inspire my watercolors, because I draw and paint cozy wooden beds with colorful bedding and bunting above about once every couple of weeks. It’s my favorite subject.
My other inspiration these days (and the catalyst for the pen usage) is Lori Vliegen, of Elvie Studio. I want to be her when I grow up, art-wise.

All Eyes And Ears 
This is cute! I like the various greens. Maybe it’s just me, but I see sleeping faces in the lines of the pillows. Keep painting, Dane!
