Speaking of drive-ins, we took my son to the Skyview in Illinois Sunday night to see Horton. They still have the great marquee but the neons don’t work, and their concession stand has thankfully not been updated since 1949. A totally wonderous time machine: http://www.skyview-drive-in.com/
