Campbell’s

September 3, 2008

McConnellsville, Ohio – cutest little town you ever saw; the closest thing they have to a chain store I could find was a lone Krogers that looked like it had been built in 1955 and never touched since.

Campbell’s as in Campbell’s Soup? Interesting. I’d think this was a chain too but I’ve never seen one here in St Louis. We still have Wonderbread Stores that of course sell other things besides Wonderbread… haven’t seen a Dolly Madison Thrift Store in ages though. Looking forward to that shot of Krogers.

Did you try the Green Pepsi?

Oh, I’m fairly sure this is an independent. Unfortunately, I left too late in the day to get a postable picture of the Krogers I had to shoot into the sun) but I can email you the pictures if you really want to see them.

Joke. Look at the photo again. I was trying to think of an Eric Bana crack too but came up empty…

Steve: Ohhh! I see. I wasn’t paying attention.

Karen, I would absolutely love that! We can hit the thrift stores and you can help me rebuild my Nancy Drew collection.
